Hey ok so you've decided to see who I am well nothing out of the ordinary sorry but hey maybe there's something here you'll like. My name is Maisie but on here I'm known as Blue you can call me either I guess don't really mind. I'm very passionate about illustration especially within Manga and video game arts. I create art as a hobby but hope to one day create my own graphic novel. Though I also enjoy other forms of art and I create traditional pieces to relax and particularly enjoy the use of water colour. Now that I've bored you to death I hope you enjoy your stay

Hi could you give me some tips on drawing hair ? 
I usualy get the shape right but then the shading is...yeah.... )) it`s not that good.

and I'm not that great at hair myself but the way I do it is I have a range of tones of a specific colour or change the pressure of the pencil. if you're just shading in pencil i'd advise having a range of leds e.g HB,2B,3B e.c.t as it will help you build up tone. Also when shading follow the direction that the hair would fall naturally, start lightly and go over it to build up tones where the light would be darker and define other hair strands. I'm no expert but I hope this helps
